Christmas At The Castle

Weekend tickets for Christmas at the Castle are sold out online, but walk ups will be admitted if numbers allow. We recommend coming down!

Edge Only will be part of the Irish Designers Market in Bedford Hall, in the Upper Courtyard (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Tickets are free but you must book via the Dublin Castle website.

They are controlling numbers for safety and comfort when shopping and have introduced a one way system in Bedford Hall with social distancing measures in place between stalls. There is plenty of outdoor eating, drinking and entertainment for before and after in the open-air Christmas Market.

There is a Boutique Open-Air Christmas Market

More than 26 Craft Vendors will be housed in traditional style wooden chalets, offering artisan products produced by Irish artists, including ceramics, wooden crafts, jewellery and much more. Diverse and delicious range of food and drink available with everything from burgers to tacos, to chocolate to churros.

 

Live Festive Entertainment

Dublin Castle is delighted to host an array of local musical talent with performances from different groups each night featuring  Dublin Gospel Choir, New Dublin Voices, Playlist, Crux Vocal Ensemble and many more. Expect bouncy choral arrangements filled with seasonal cheer and festive rock music to help get you into the Christmas Spirit! Enjoy the sounds of Christmas as night falls and the lights begin to twinkle in the historic upper courtyard.

Set in the heart of the nation’s capital, Christmas at the Castle will have something for everyone, with a boutique open air Christmas Market, with music from the Dublin Gospel Choir, New Dublin Voices, Playlist, Crux Vocal Ensemble and others among some of the festive offerings.

The historic courtyard of Dublin Castle will be filled with over 30 traditional alpine market stalls featuring an array of decorative crafts and inspiring gift ideas. Come and indulge in traditional fare sold by artisan producers and soak up the festive atmosphere. There will be also be a vintage carousel on site for children.

With over 1,000 years of history in Dublin Castle and plenty of festive food, crafts, music and entertainment – there will be something for everyone to enjoy this festive season
