What is EcoSilver?
EcoSilver is an eco-friendly alternative to sterling silver. Made of 100% recycled silver products, Eco Silver is treated and worked with in the same way as standard sterling silver, for the same quality results, it is simply more environmentally friendly.
EcoSilver is 100% recycled, 100% traceable and 100% audited by our bullion supplier. As always, our designs will be tested and hallmarked by the Assay Office in Dublin Castle (925 for sterling silver) - a quality mark purity guarantee.
Eco Silver is a fraction more expensive to use (due to the extra segregation process required in order to ensure that it is 100% recycled during refining), but we think it's an ethical switch worth doing and we hope that you agree.
We want to do our part for the environment and prevent unnecessary mining when and where it is possible for us to do so. So on top of being ethically made, going forward our Lightning Bolts, Plectrums, Wedge Rings and Gap Rings will all be hand pierced from eco sterling silver sheet. Yay! ⚡️
