Dublin Tech Summit
Should We Look Forward To The End of Traditional Fashion Seasons?
Dublin Tech Summit was February 15th and 16th in the Dublin Convention Centre. This year they introduced a Fashion Stage on Wednesday the 15th.
Jenny spoke on a panel looking at the ethics of fashion, asking the question 'Should we look forward to the end of the traditional fashion seasons?' Jenny joined fashion designer Emma Manley, fashion Editor Linda Conway and moderator Sive O'Brien for the talk.

It was a hugely positive conversation about customer power to motivate change on the high street (ask questions and look for transparency in production) in order to tackle the negative human and environmental effects of fast fashion. The general consensus amongst the panel was if you took away one thing, it was to try and buy better (better made or more ethically produced) and buy less.
