A stunning black spinel pendant in a pointed 'bullet' cabochon shape. Masterfully set with a solid 14ct gold bezel surrounded by 6 flush set round brilliant diamonds.
Dimensions: Spinel is approximately 6mm wide x 8mm tall with a 14 carat gold 18"/45cm flat curb chain.

The famous 14th century Black Prince’s Ruby in the British Imperial Crown is actually a red spinel. Spinel gemstones come in colour: red, orange, pink, purple, blue, black. In gemmology it has a hardness rating of 8 on the Mohs scale.

To clean your gold jewellery, wash it gently with warm, soapy water. Allow to dry and then buff with a soft dry cloth or gold polishing cloth.
